

Homeless for a Night 2019 will be held on the 9th August FRIDAY during the Annual WA Homelessness Week.
Through this event, we hope to increase social awareness of the many issues surrounding homelessness, and raise much needed funds for our vital community programs. Our Manna Programs currently provides food relief supplies and meals to the homeless and struggling people of Perth, and estimate to provide over 100,000 meals into the community over the next 12 months.
Manna does not receive any government funding and in such tough times we need your help to support others throughout the year. By attending this event and fundraising, you will be making a huge difference to the lives of others who are less fortunate.
This event will be the third Homeless for a Night event hosted by Manna, and this year we have opted to host this event as a challenge to provide a small insight into what so many people face on a daily basis.
*Participants need to be aged 18 years and over, unless otherwise approved. We encourage alternative participation through our Homeless @ Home Activity*
OUR AIM:
To provide participants with a “lived experience” of what it means to be homeless.
For 14 hours, you will experience what is real for many experiencing homelessness
Participants are encouraged to assist in raising awareness and fundraise

DURING THE NIGHT, MANNA WILL PROVIDE ONE HOT SOUP & BREAD ROLL AS PART OF THE EXPERIENCE
There will be no other food OR drinks sold at the event so feel free to pack some supplies in your back pack . We encourage you to limit this to small amounts.
Our Target
Please help us exceed our target of $50,000.00
Every dollar raised goes directly to our Hot ‘n’ Healthy Meals Program.
$50,000.00 will provide for approximately 50,000 meals into the community.
Homeless at Home
WE ENCOURAGE ALL OUR SCHOOL FRIENDS TO PARTICIPATE IN THIS EVENT BY HOSTING A SLEEPOUT IN SCHOOL OR ORGANISE A SLEEP OUT WITHIN EACH CLASS & THEIR FAMILIES.
If you cannot attend the homeless for a night event, but still want to get involved, Plan a "homeless at home" night at your own house or a friend's house.
Plan how you will spend your night for ‘Homeless at Home’ and who will join you
Follow our Instagram and Facebook sites for updates from others in the lead up to the event and on the night.
